[产品来源] 本品为系唇形科迷迭香属植物迷迭香Rosmarinus officinalis叶的提取物。常绿灌木，株直立，主茎高约1米(有时达2米)。叶狭细尖状，长约1厘米，形似弯曲的松针；深绿色，上面光亮，下面白色，叶缘向叶背卷曲。叶片发散松树香味，花蓝色，成小簇生于叶腋，特别招惹蜜蜂。春夏开淡蓝色小花，种子发芽14-21天，成熟时间90-110天。

食用：
在西餐中迷迭香是经常使用的香料，在牛排、土豆等料理以及烤制品中特别经常使用。有种特别清甜带松木香的气味和风味，香味浓郁，甜中带有苦味.迷迭香粉末通常是在菜肴烹调好以后添加少量提味使用，主要用于羊肉海鲜鸡鸭类。在烤制食物腌肉的时候放上一些，烤出来的肉就会特别的香；在调制沙拉酱的时候放人少许还可以做成香草沙拉油汁；烹调菜肴时常常使用干燥的迷迭香粉（如果菜肴需要长时间加热，可以使用香气比较浓郁的干燥迷迭香）；把干燥的迷迭香用葡萄醋浸泡后，可作为长条面包或大蒜面包的蘸料。
